Ayuhasca
Legal
Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your access to and use of Ayuhasca, the event ticketing platform operated by alteredMinds Software Solutions (PVT) Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”) from Sri Lanka.
Effective date: 1 October 2026
1. Platform operator
Ayuhasca is operated by alteredMinds Software Solutions (PVT) Ltd., of No 92/5 1/1, Gangodawila, Nugegoda, Sri Lanka.
You may contact us at ayuhasca@gmail.com or +94 76 660 7757 / +94 75 714 0996.
We act primarily as an online marketplace / platform that enables production houses (“Organisers”) to list events and sell admission tickets to buyers (“you”). Unless we expressly state otherwise for a given event, the Organiser—not Ayuhasca—is the seller of the ticket and the provider of the event experience.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By browsing the site, creating an account, placing a seat hold, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Electronic contracts and records formed through the platform are intended to have legal effect under the Electronic Transactions Act, No. 19 of 2006 (as amended), and related Sri Lankan law.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, to create an account or buy tickets.
- You must provide accurate registration and contact details and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that are abusive, fraudulent, or violate these Terms or applicable law.
4. Event listings and pricing
Consistent with Consumer Affairs Authority e-commerce transparency expectations, we aim to display material information about events before you confirm a purchase, including event title, date/time, venue, ticket tier, price, and applicable fees shown at checkout.
Prices are shown in the currency indicated on the event and checkout screens. Mandatory platform or payment fees, if any, will be itemised before you pay.
Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of listing content (description, artist line-up, age rules, venue details). We may edit or remove listings that appear unlawful, misleading, or unsafe.
5. Seat holds, orders, and tickets
- A seat hold reserves inventory for a limited period (typically 10 minutes) and is not a completed purchase. If payment is not completed before the hold expires, seats may be released without notice.
- Before payment confirmation you will see an order summary. Completing payment creates a binding ticket order for that event, subject to these Terms and the Refund Policy.
- After successful payment we (or the Organiser via the platform) issue electronic tickets or QR codes. You should retain confirmation emails/receipts.
- Tickets are personal admission rights for the named event and tier. Resale, transfer, or commercial redistribution may be restricted by the Organiser or by us; unauthorised resale may result in cancellation without refund where permitted by law.
- Entry is controlled by the Organiser and venue. Valid ticket presentation, ID checks, and venue house rules may apply.
6. Payments and receipts
Payment is processed through the methods offered at checkout. You authorise us and our payment partners to charge the selected method for the total amount displayed.
We will provide an electronic receipt or order confirmation including material transaction details (items, amounts, fees where applicable, and key cancellation/refund references), in line with Sri Lankan e-commerce disclosure practice.
You must not use stolen payment instruments or attempt to circumvent inventory, pricing, or security controls.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, attack, reverse-engineer, or overload the platform.
- Do not post unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Do not use the platform to commit fraud, money laundering, or ticket scalping contrary to event rules or law.
- Organisers must comply with applicable licensing, safety, advertising, and consumer-protection obligations for their events.
8. Intellectual property
Ayuhasca branding, software, and site design are owned by us or our licensors. Organiser names, artwork, and event creatives remain theirs. You receive only a limited licence to use the platform for legitimate ticketing purposes.
9. Personal data
We collect and process personal data needed to operate accounts, fulfil ticket orders, prevent fraud, and communicate service messages. Contact details you provide may be shared with the relevant Organiser as needed to run the event and manage entry.
By using the platform you consent to processing reasonably required for these purposes under applicable Sri Lankan data and consumer rules. For privacy questions, contact us using the details above.
10. Liability and disclaimers
We provide the platform on a commercially reasonable basis. Event quality, schedule changes within Organiser control, and venue conditions are primarily the Organiser’s responsibility.
To the fullest extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act, No. 9 of 2003, or other mandatory law (including liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence where such limits are not allowed).
If we are found liable in connection with a ticket purchase facilitated through the platform, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid through Ayuhasca for the affected order, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
11. Changes to the service or Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The effective date above will be revised when we do. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for subsequent use and purchases. Material changes affecting existing paid orders will not reduce rights you already have under law for those orders.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You may also seek assistance from the Consumer Affairs Authority under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act, No. 9 of 2003, where that Act applies.
Subject to mandatory consumer protections, courts in Sri Lanka (including those with jurisdiction over Colombo / Nugegoda) shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform.
